Meditation isn’t about switching off or zoning out. It’s about switching on and zoning in reconnecting with the world around us in the process.
This is very true. Through meditation I tend to find I am more aware of the present. Living in the moment and not missing out on life as it whizzes by!
Meditation makes me stop and take stock .. Rejoin the present. Quiet my over active mind so that I can focus on what is important.. Like my girls or the exercise I am doing.
